Welcome to Haddon Primary and Nursery School
On behalf of myself, the staff and governors, I would like to offer you a warm welcome to the Haddon School. We hope that whilst your children are pupils at our school, which could be from the age of 3 to 11 years, we can develop a close relationship between home and school. We believe that we share your children and that in these circumstances it is essential that we work together to promote the well being and educational development of your child.
If children are happy and valued members of the community they will work hard and reach their social and educational potential. We try to ensure that we have a caring and working atmosphere in our school. We believe that it is essential that all children leave us articulate, literate and numerate. We encourage participation in extra curricular activities, whilst at the same time making sure that children work at the correct educational level within the National Curriculum. If children are to cope in tomorrow’s world, they will need to be more independent from a much earlier age.
I am sure that in partnership together, your child will leave us for Secondary school as a well adjusted individual who will have reached their educational potential within the primary school, and will be ready for the challenge within their new environment.
